Marhaba is “Hello” in Arabic. I’m Abdulla Al-Ogail, a student in the Interactive Multimedia and Design stream, Bachelor of Information Technology at Carleton University (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada). I’m an Arab with a high ambition.

I acquire a vast variety of skills ranging from graphic design, web applications development, database administration, IT marketing, and project management to filmmaking, video editing, 2D animation, and sound editing. This mix of skills is unique and useful in a tight economy market where organizations seek more talents with fewer people.

I take a genuine joy in self-exploration and learning new aspects of multimedia everyday - especially for the web. Recently, I have been involved in installing, customizing, and maintaining several open-sources, web 2.0 tools such as Drupal, MediaWiki, Elgg and Joomla for the federal government, a local community, and on self-initiated projects.
